You release www.closetgoodies.com from any liability once you use this site. You agree not to take any legal action at all against www.closetgoodies.com if there is such an occurrence. Use this site at your own risk! Again www.closetgoodies.com is not responsible for any loss, or damages you may occur.
PLACING AN AD
Create a login/ user account with password or log in on right hand sign if you already have an account.
Next choose the category you want to post your item in, from the drop down menu. From there select the sub-category. Ex. Shoes, women’s.
Payment option is already selected for you- $0.00 for 1 month. Your ad will expire in 30 days
Pick a descriptive title for you item. Ex. Carlos Santana High Heels
Address is not required. However, you should put the city and state in case someone who is interested in your item is local and can pick it up from you rather than having you ship it.
Closest area is optional. Ex. Bay Area. This way people looking for items in a general area can search listings.
Qty, quantity of item. How many are you selling?
Price: Remember to include shipping if you are willing to ship your product.
Site URL and YouTube URL are not required but great if you are promoting a product or a business, you can include your businesses website.
Description is where you want to list any details about your item. Include size, condition, color, and brand. You can also include other ways you can be contacted here like phone number. Also state if your item is for local pick up or if you are willing to ship.
Featured ads will have its own tab at the top of the menu bar. This allows users to see what ads are featured on our site. The cost of this option is $3.
Highlighted and bold ads are $1 each. This option will make your ad stand out.
If you select doing any or all of these 3 options after submitting your ad and uploading your images you will be directed to PayPal where you can make your payment.
Click submit ad.
Next, upload any images you have of your item. This will help users determine if they are interested. If you have no photo you can select skip this with no image button.
Your ad will now be posted.
REPLY TO AD
Click on the ad
Click reply to ad on right hand side
Put your name
Put your email address and where the seller can contact you.
Details- list any questions you might have or say that you are interested and let the seller know they can request payment through PayPal to your email address.
Validate image
Your message has been sent
Once the seller knows that you are interested and has your email address they can send you and request payment through PayPal all on a secure site. Once you have submitted payment they can ship the item.*
CLIP AD
This feature is if you are viewing many items and would like to clip your ads to view at a later time.
Clipped ads will be stored on your profile until you erase them.
SEND TO A FRIEND
Send an ad to a friend if you think they might be interested.
Click send to friend on right hand side
Type your friends email
Your name
Your email
Subject- ad name or you can write your comment “Check this out”
Details- any info you would like to include. It will send them a link to the site and go right to the ad.
